AI agent for business: what it is and what it does for your customers

An AI agent for business reads the messages your customers send, understands them even when they're short and full of typos, and replies on its own with your prices, opening hours and rules. Nobody waits until morning, and nobody has to tap through a menu of buttons. When the agent isn't sure, it hands the conversation to your team instead of guessing. AsistentiAI gives you exactly that, 24/7, on your website, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp, from $120 a month.

What an AI agent is, in plain words

Picture a new sales assistant who, before their first day, has read everything about your business: the website, the price list, the opening hours, delivery and returns. A customer writes the way people text, "how much is this jacket, do you have it in M?", and the assistant knows which jacket they mean, finds the price and answers within seconds. On a Sunday, or after midnight, just the same.

Some call it a virtual agent, others an AI chatbot. The label matters less than two things: does it understand customers who write freely, and where does it get its answers? A good AI customer service agent answers only from the information you gave it, never from guesswork.

An AI agent vs. a chatbot with buttons

A classic chatbot follows a script someone wrote in advance: "Press 1 for opening hours, 2 for prices." As long as the customer stays inside the script, it works. Real customers don't. They write "got it in black? saw it in yesterday's post", sometimes with a photo attached, and the button bot sends back the same menu.

An AI agent understands the question, connects it to what was said earlier in the conversation and answers with your own data. When you change a price in WooCommerce or in the knowledge on your dashboard, there's no script to rewrite: the agent works with the new information.

But the difference that matters most to a business is this: a good agent admits when it doesn't know. Instead of giving the customer a made-up answer, it passes the conversation to a person on your team.

What an AI agent for business does on a normal working day

  • ✓A clothes shop in Tirana, 11:40 pm: "how much is this jacket, do you have it in M?" The agent finds the jacket in your catalog, even from a photo the customer sends, gives the price and, if your catalog tracks stock, says whether size M is available.
  • ✓A dental clinic in Durrës. A patient asks what a cleaning costs and when she can come in. The agent quotes the price from your list and records the appointment request. It never gives diagnoses or medicines; when someone writes about pain, it invites them to book a visit with the dentist.
  • ✓A beauty salon in Prishtina, on Instagram: "sa bon ngjyra e flokeve, a keni termin te shtunen?" (how much is hair colouring, any slot on Saturday?). The agent understands the Kosovo way of writing, replies in standard Albanian with your price, records the booking and lets you know.
  • ✓A restaurant in Saranda, Friday afternoon: "table for 6 tonight at 8:30? anything gluten free?" The agent records the booking request and answers from the menu you gave it. If the menu says nothing about gluten, it doesn't guess: the question goes to your team.
  • ✓Under your Facebook and Instagram posts, comments like "price?" turn into conversations in your inbox: the agent replies to the customer privately and leaves a short public reply.

What an AI agent must never do, and how we prevent it

The worst mistake AI agents can make isn't being slow. It's making things up. A late reply annoys a customer; a made-up one misleads them. A wrong price, a "yes, we have it" for something you don't stock or a guessed delivery date will cost you more than a message that waits a few minutes.

  • ✓AsistentiAI answers only from your business's knowledge: the website, catalog, documents and whatever you add in the dashboard. It never invents prices, stock, policies or delivery times you didn't give it.
  • ✓It sends on its own only the replies it's sure of. For the rest, the conversation jumps to the top of your inbox as needing a person, and your colleague finds a draft reply ready.
  • ✓If a customer says someone on your team promised them a discount, the agent doesn't confirm it; it hands the case to a colleague.
  • ✓It learns from your team's answers for next time, and the questions it couldn't answer show up in the dashboard so you can fill the gaps.
  • ✓You can pause it whenever you want: for the whole business, for one channel or for a single conversation.

How to get started: it learns from your website, catalog and documents

There are no scripts to write. The agent reads your website and learns from your documents (PDF, Word, Excel, CSV), product lists in Excel or CSV, WooCommerce products, which stay up to date by themselves, and even a photo of your price list, which our team checks line by line. You only fill in what's missing.

You connect your channels from the dashboard with your own Facebook login, without giving us any password. Everything goes through Meta's official APIs, and our app passed Meta's App Review for messaging and for comments. For WhatsApp, you connect the same number you already use in the WhatsApp Business app, and your previous chats and contacts come into the inbox too. Data is stored in the EU, and every business has its own separate space.

Want to see it first? In the live demo, pick a sample business like yours (a shop, clinic, restaurant or salon) and write to the agent as a customer would. When you're ready, request the free trial: 50 agent replies, no credit card. Our team opens your trial account within the day.

What an AI agent costs: per business, not per user

Starter costs $120 a month for up to 1,000 agent replies on your website chat, Instagram and Messenger, with the Admin plus 3 users. Professional, at $220, adds WhatsApp and lead scoring, with 3,000 replies and the Admin plus 5 users. Business, at $550, gives you 10,000 replies, all channels, priority support and the Admin plus 10 users. For larger volumes there's Enterprise, by agreement, with unlimited users.

Setup is paid once: $149 on Starter ($0 if you do it yourself), $249 on Professional and $499 on Business. Going over your limit never cuts a conversation off; extra replies cost $30 per 1,000. Pay for a year in advance and the first 2 months are free. Prices are in US dollars, excluding VAT. Meta's WhatsApp fees don't go through us: since 1 October 2026, Meta charges for replies beyond 1,000 a month per number and bills the business directly.

Frequently asked questions

What is an AI agent?

+

A program that understands customer messages written in everyday language and replies on its own, using your business's information: products, prices, opening hours and rules. Unlike a chatbot with buttons, it doesn't follow a fixed script, and when it doesn't know the answer it hands the conversation to a person.

Will an AI agent replace my staff?

+

No. It takes the questions that come in every day, like price, size, opening hours and delivery, and answers them even when nobody is at work. Complaints, special cases and decisions stay with your people, who work in the same inbox and can take over any conversation. We see the agent as an extra pair of hands for your team, not a replacement.

How much does an AI agent for business cost?

+

With AsistentiAI, from $120 a month (Starter, 1,000 replies). Professional is $220 and adds WhatsApp, Business is $550 for high volumes, and Enterprise is by agreement. You pay per business, not per user; prices are in US dollars, excluding VAT.

Does it speak Albanian?

+

Yes, and it understands Albanian the way people actually type it: without ë and ç, with dialect and Gheg words, mixed with English or Italian. It replies in standard Albanian, and when a customer writes in English, Italian or another language, it answers in that language.

What happens when the agent doesn't know the answer?

+

It doesn't guess. It hands the conversation to your team: the chat moves to the top of the list, with a notification and a ready draft reply. Once you answer, the agent learns it for next time.

Which channels does an AI customer service agent work on?

+

With AsistentiAI: your website chat, Instagram (messages and comments), Messenger (including Facebook comments) and WhatsApp, all in one shared inbox for your team. WhatsApp comes with Professional and higher plans. You don't need a website: Instagram, Messenger or WhatsApp on its own is enough.

Do AI agents for small businesses make sense, or are they for big companies?

+

They make the most sense where the owner is also the person answering messages late at night. A small shop or salon gets the same agent as a large business; between plans, only the monthly replies, the channels and the users change. You can usually start within the day, with no technical knowledge.
